Anoqi Health Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 1, 2026
Anoqi Health SAS (“Anoqi”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a women’s health companion app designed to help you organize health information, track symptoms, upload documents, prepare for appointments, and access educational support. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.
1. What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you use our app, website, and related services (together, the “Service”). It also explains your rights and choices.

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, you can contact us using the details above.
3. Information we may collect
Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:
- Account information, such as your name, email address, password, language preference, and account settings.
- Health-related information, such as symptoms, cycle information, contraception history, health goals, nutrition, wellbeing, and other information you choose to share.
- Chats and messages, including questions and information you enter into the app.
- Uploaded information, such as PDFs, photos, test results, prescriptions, and other documents you choose to upload.
- Usage and technical information, such as app interactions, device type, operating system, app version, and crash or diagnostic data.
- Consent and preference information, such as your notification settings, cookie preferences, and whether you have opted in to research or data sharing.
We only collect what we need to provide and improve the Service, and we aim to keep data collection as privacy-friendly as possible.
4. How we use your information
We may use your information to: provide and operate the Service; personalize your experience; allow you to track symptoms and other health-related information; generate summaries, reminders, and appointment-preparation outputs; store and process documents you upload; improve performance, reliability, and safety; send notifications you have chosen to receive; analyse usage in aggregated or privacy-protected ways; support customer service and account management; conduct research, if you choose to opt in separately; and support product improvement and model training, where you have given consent.
5. Health data and consent
Some information you share may be health data. In France and the EU, health data is sensitive data and receives special protection. Where required, we rely on your explicit consent or another lawful basis under applicable law. We use privacy-by-design and privacy-by-default principles, meaning we aim to keep settings and processing as protective as possible from the start.
6. Research use and pseudonymised data
If you opt in, we may use pseudonymised data for research. This means your direct identifiers, such as your name and contact details, are replaced with a code, so the information is less directly linked to you. The code is stored separately and subject to access controls. Pseudonymised data may still be considered personal data, and it is not fully anonymous.
If you opt in, we may also share pseudonymised data with selected third parties for research, scientific analysis, product improvement, and model training, under contractual and technical safeguards. We do not share direct identifiers for those purposes.
Your research participation is optional and separate from use of the core Service. You can withdraw your research consent at any time in your settings, and this will not affect your access to the main features of the app.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
If you use our website, we may use cookies and similar technologies to help the website function, improve performance, understand usage, and remember your preferences. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before placing non-essential cookies. You can manage your cookie preferences through our cookie banner or browser settings.
8. Sharing information
We do not sell your personal data in the sense of selling identifiable data for advertising purposes. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the app; research or technology partners, where you have opted in, using pseudonymised data; legal or regulatory authorities when required by law; and third parties in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition. Where we share data, we require appropriate safeguards and use agreements designed to protect your information.
9. Storage and security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including access controls, encryption, role-based permissions, audit logging, and secure hosting practices. Our infrastructure is intended to be hosted in the EU. No system is completely secure, but we work continuously to reduce risks such as unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration of data.
10. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. You may request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal or technical limitations.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access your data; correct inaccurate data; delete your data; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; request data portability; and lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL. You can manage certain settings directly in the app.
12. International transfers
If we transfer your data outside the European Economic Area, we use appropriate safeguards required by law.
13. Children
The Service is not intended for children. If we learn that we have collected personal data in violation of applicable rules, we will take steps to delete it.
14. Third-party services
The Service may include integrations or links to third-party services, such as sign-in providers, cloud services, analytics providers, or booking tools. Those services are governed by their own policies.
15. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in an appropriate way and update the effective date above.
